1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named contract(s).

Additional financing information:
Co-financing for the Project will be provided by the European Investment Bank ("EIB") in the amount of EUR 126 Million and by EU Neighbourhood Investment Facility ("NIF") under a grant in the amount of EUR 30 Million.

2. Information on the Procurement Exercise

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.

The type of contract and the procurement method is stated above. A full description of the procurement exercise is available within the documentation and is available free of charge in ECEPP.

The documentation will include such information as: detailed technical and financial requirements; any information on lots; the expected outcome; eligibility and qualification requirements; contract start date; planned contract duration; any response requirements; any other relevant information.

3. Other Information
The Works cover 2 clusters located in the Ibshway District cluster E.03 and Cluster E.02. namely, Sharaf Al Deen Village, Iz. Al Biltaji, Tahawi Village, Huwaydi Village, Iz. Seror, Iz. Abou Nassar, Iz. Al Essawi & Iz. Abou Saeda, in addition to residential blocks located on the main villages force mains routes namely (Iz. Kariman Sednaoui, Iz.Junaidi Wisa & Iz. Zaki Wisa, Iz. Naimi Abd Al Aziz, Iz. Raslan & Iz. Mokhtar Eissa, and Iz. Abd Al-Qawy Salem & Iz. Zaraby) for two clusters, and consist of construction of approx. 53 km. sewerage network with the related manholes and inspection chambers for house connections, approx. 17 km of pipelines for forced mains, 2000 m of waterway, and road crossings by trenchless techniques and/or inside concrete encasement and 9 Nr. pumping stations, including supply and installations of all electromechanical equipment. The time for completion will be 22 months with 12 months of Defects Notification Period.
