General Procurement Notice

1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

Additional financing information:
A sovereign-guaranteed loan of up to KZT 19.8 billion (equivalent EUR 39.9 million).
A grant from the EBRD-Kazakh Joint TC Fund of up to 395,000.00 EUR.

2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
The Project’s Priority Investment Programme (the “PIP”) is estimated at KZT 19.25 b (EUR 38.5 m), including (i) modernisation of the WWTP to restore its capacity to 100,000 m3/day, and (ii) modernisation of associated infrastructure. The proposed wastewater treatment capacity shall be sufficient to serve 500,000 people and could be expanded in the future following expansion of sewerage network.

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
