The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
Communal Enterprise “Ternopilmiskteplokomunenergo” of the Ternopil City Council, a municipal district heating utility, has applied for a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (“EBRD” or “the Bank”), a loan from the Clean Invetsments Fund (“CIF”) and a grant from the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership ("E5P") Fund for a project aimed at improving the energy efficiency, reducing energy losses, gas and electricity consumption and improving the quality of heat and hot water supply services in the City of Ternopil. The Project has a total estimated cost of approximately EUR 18 million equivalent.
The remaining components to be procured are:

- Biomass fuelled boiler plant (estimated heat capacity of 10 MW)
- Replacement of obsolete pipes (2 lots)
- Dispatching and monitoring system (SCADA)

3. Other Information

Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin in the Q2 2020.

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
