1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named contract(s).

Additional financing information:
EBRD loan in the amount of EUR 10,000,000 supported by additional EBRD Technical Cooperation Funds for PIU Support provided on a grant basis.

Project is expected to be exempt from indirect taxes as defined in the Loan Agreement (including but not limited to VAT and customs duties). If exemption is not available then the Borrower will reimburse such taxes from their own funds.

2. Information on the Procurement Exercise

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.

The type of contract and the procurement method is stated above. A full description of the procurement exercise is available within the documentation and is available free of charge in ECEPP.

The documentation will include such information as: detailed technical and financial requirements; any information on lots; the expected outcome; eligibility and qualification requirements; contract start date; planned contract duration; any response requirements; any other relevant information.

3. Other Information
The assignment is for the provision of Consultancy Services for Project Implementation Unit support to the City of Ganja. The assignment will support procurement and implementation of goods, works and services contracts for the upgrade of solid waste management collection infrastructure and corporate development. The project will include:

- Improvement of waste collection through the purchase of bins and vehicles
- Smart waste collection interventions
- Works and equipment for the improvement of the maintenance bay and dumpsite operations
- Supervision of Works for improvement of the existing city landfill
- Improvement of dumpsite operations
- Procurement of corporate development services
