Invitation For Prequalification
The above named client, intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) for the above named project. Additional financing details are as follows:
It is expected that the Project will be financed by the proceeds of the EBRD loan in the amount of 47 million euros.
Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules.
Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from/ grant administered by the Bank and will be open to firms from any country.
The client intends to prequalify firms and joint ventures to tender for the above mentioned contract, which includes the following:
The construction goal is, to build all necessary facilities, tracks, plants, equipment and installations for the purpose of treatment, maintenance and expectation for the operation of rolling stock for the passenger transport on the location of TPS Zemun, with capacities dimensioned in accordance with the expected scope of work. With this project, the following construction is planned:
- EMUs 413 maintenance halls,
- Maintenance depot for passenger coaches with unhooking, with annex (workshops and auxiliary rooms),
- Halls for external washing, with annex,
- Facilities for acceptance and dispatching of trains,
- Measuring stations for diagnostics of rolling stock,
- Boiler rooms with compressor station,
- Pump stations with carport,
- Facility for temporary storage of waste,
- Dormitory facilities,
- Fences around the complex.
Reconstruction and rehabilitation of the existing facilities and completion of works on started facilities are planned:
- EMUs 412 maintenance hall,
- Under floor wheel lathe hall,
- Storage for sand,
- Storage for oil and water
The contract is expected to start on 28/06/2018 and last about 20 months .

The proceeds of the loan from/ grant administered by the Bank will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of the Client's country.
Prospective tenderers who have registered in ECEPP and expressed an interest in the contract may access the prequalification documents and may request clarification and further information from the client through ECEPP.
