1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named contract(s).

Additional financing information:
Pursuant to the Loan Agreements between the Republic of Serbia and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the “Bank”), the World Bank and the European Investment Bank, the Government of the Republic of Serbia constructed the sections of the Corridor X Highway, e.g. Highway E80, sections from Prosek to Dimitrovgrad (Border crossing with Bulgaria) and Highway E75, sections from Grabovnica to Levosoje (the "Project").
The Republic of Serbia, represented by the Project Implementing Entity, acting as the Contracting Authority, Koridori Srbije d.o.o. Beograd received the Loan from the Bank for the Project to upgrade the Administrative building of Regional Control Centre Nis with objective to facilitate sustainable economic development and ensure that the country capitalizes on its geographical position to continue its development as a key transit country on the Trans-European Network as well as to increase transport efficiency and improve traffic safety in Serbia.

2. Information on the Procurement Exercise

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.

The documentation will include such information as: detailed technical and financial requirements; any information on lots; the expected outcome; eligibility and qualification requirements; contract start date; planned contract duration; any response requirements; any other relevant information.

3. Other Information
Subject of this tender exercise is the reconstruction, adaptation and upgrading of the existing administrative building, construction of a garage for small vehicles and the exterior decoration of the complex with the addition of the missing infrastructure. The subject complex of the Regional Center "Niš" is located on the cadastral plot number 3799/1 Cadastral Municipality of Popovac, near the highway E-75 (section Belgrade-Niš), on the west side of the access to the city of Niš.

The contract is expected to start in May 2021 and last 365 days + 1080 days DNP.
