2. Information on the Procurement Exercise
Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.

3. Other Information
The scope of work includes:
1. Dry pitching of 24000 m3, and concrete lining of 8000 m3 for Halk El Gamal, EL Sergany and El Qisa canals;
2. Concrete upper toe parapet (fence) of lining in residential areas of 1300 m3;
3. Construction of Mesqa intakes including the steel gates of 5.4 ton, and steel trash rack of 3.8 ton ;
4. More details about the specification, volume of works and principal quantities are set out in the BoQ and specification. knowing that the Egyptian Standard Specification will be followed.
