1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

Additional financing information:
EBRD loan only, provided in two tranches:
- Tranche 1 of EUR 126 million for the Rehabilitation of regional bridges
- Tranche 2 of EUR 133 million for the Rehabilitation of M3 road sections


2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
The Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Belarus intends using the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (“EBRD” or the “Bank”) to finance the rehabilitation of 12 regional bridges and rehabilitation and upgrade of an M3 road section on the North-South Corridor (the “Project"). RUE Minskavtodorcentre will act as an implementing agency.

3. Other Information

The proposed project will require the procurement of the following works and services:

• Reconstruction of the 12 regional bridges;
• Reconstruction of M3 road section (Minsk-Vitebsk) from 8.6 km to 56 km of the North-South road Corridor;
• Project Implementation Supervision and Advisory Services Consultant.


Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules Rev. November 2017 (http://www.ebrd.com/work-with-us/procurement/policies-and-rules.html) and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.The proceeds of the EBRD loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of the Purchaser's country

Procurement under this project will be conducted using the EBRD Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP).
