General Procurement Notice

1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

Additional financing information:
Up to EUR 30.0 million in favor of Vodovod i Kanalizacija d.o.o. Split (the “Company” or “VIK”), a limited liability company incorporated in Croatia. Proceeds of the loan will be used to finance the construction of a state of art drinking water treatment plant as well as co-finance major investments into water and wastewater infrastructure together with the EU Cohesion Funds (the “Project”). The loan will be split into two facilities: (i) committed Tranche A of up to EUR 20 million to finance the construction of the water purification plant, and (ii) uncommitted Tranche B of up to EUR 10 million co-finance investments into water and wastewater network in the city of Split and surrounding area.

2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
The Project will finance the construction of a drinking water purification plant, consultancy supervision services as well as preparation of financial and operational performance improvement programme and public service. In addiition, the project will co-finance alongside EU Cohesion Programmes, investments into extension and upgrade of water and wastewater infrastructure in the city of Split and surrounding municipalities.

3. Other Information

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
