1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

Additional financing information:
EBRD loan - EUR 13 million
CTF loan - EUR 2 million
E5P grant - EUR 3 million
City of Mariupol - EUR 1.9 million

2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
The Communal Enterprise “Mariupol Tram and Trolleybus Company” (“the Company”), a municipal public transport operator, wholly owned by the City of Mariupol, and the management of the City of Mariupol have received loan financing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (“the Bank”) and Clean Technology Fund (“CTF”) and grant financing from the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environmental Partnership (“E5P”) to finance the renewal of Company’s trolleybuses fleet and modernisation of selected infrastructure. The Project will require the procurement of the following remaining contracts (Trolleybus contract has been signed):
- Trolleybus depot reconstruction
- Capital repair of catenary network
- Specialised vehicles and machinery (for maintenance of trolleybus infrastructure)

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
