1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named contract(s).

Additional financing information:
Bosnia and Herzegovina (hereinafter called Borrower) has received financing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the “Bank”) in the form of a loan toward the cost of civil works and consultancy services for Supervision of Design and Construction Works for Construction of Motorway on Corridor Vc through Republic of Srpska Doboj Bypass, Section Bridge Rudanka (including the Bridge) - tunnel Putnikovo Brdo 2. Public Company “Autoputevi Republike Srpske” ltd, (hereinafter refered to as the “Client” or “JPAPRS”), intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this Loan to eligible payments under the contract for which this Request for Proposals is issued.
Payments by the Bank will be made only at the request of the Client and upon approval by the Bank, and will be subject, in all respects, to the terms and conditions of the Loan agreement. The Loan agreement prohibits a withdrawal from the loan account for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import, to the knowledge of the Bank, is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations. No party other than the Client shall derive any rights from the Loan agreement or have any claims to the proceeds of the Loan.

2. Information on the Procurement Exercise

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.

The type of contract and the procurement method is stated above. A full description of the procurement exercise is available within the documentation and is available free of charge in ECEPP.

The documentation will include such information as: detailed technical and financial requirements; any information on lots; the expected outcome; eligibility and qualification requirements; contract start date; planned contract duration; any response requirements; any other relevant information.

This procurement exercise will be conducted using the EBRD Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP). 3. Other Information
The Client now invites proposals to provide the following consulting services (hereinafter called “Services”): upervision of Design and Construction Works for Construction of Motorway on Corridor Vc through Republic of Srpska Doboj Bypass, Section Bridge Rudanka (including the Bridge) - tunnel Putnikovo Brdo 2.More details on the Services are provided in the Terms of Reference (Section 7).
