1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named contract(s).

The number of contracts (lots) and titles of contracts, for which the Invitation is issued:
Lot 1 Washing Units for Trolleybuses
Lot 2 Equipment for Diagnostics and Maintenance of Trolleybuses
Lot 3 Equipment for the Repair Shop
Lot 4 Special Vehicles
The price of the Goods must be quoted excluding VAT and customs duties on DDP (Dushanbe) basis for delivery of Goods.
In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Client must obtain exemption from VAT and customs duties on materials and work supplied under this Project.


2. Information on the Procurement Exercise

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.

The type of contract and the procurement method is stated above. A full description of the procurement exercise is available within the documentation and is available free of charge in ECEPP.

The documentation will include such information as: detailed technical and financial requirements; any information on lots; the expected outcome; eligibility and qualification requirements; contract start date; planned contract duration; any response requirements; any other relevant information.

This procurement exercise will be conducted using the EBRD Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP). 3. Other Information
Tenders must be accompanied by Tender Securities of:
Lot 1 – USD 4,700;
Lot 2 – USD 1,600;
Lot 3 – USD 4,400;
Lot 4 – USD 2,100, or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency. If a tender is submitted for several lots, the tender security is summarised. The original of the duly completed and signed Tender Security shall be received by the Client not later than 14 calendar days following the above mentioned closing date for submission of the tenders.
