1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
The State of Bosnia and Herzegovina intends using the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the “Bank”) in the amount of EUR 120 million and a loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) in the amount of EUR 90 million to finance the construction of priority motorway sections along the international transport Corridor Vc. The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of EUR 235 million, will require the procurement of the following goods, works and services:

Construction of the following motorway sections:
• section Tarčin-Konjic, subsection Tarčin-Ivan (length = 6.8 km): LOT 2 Tunnel Ivan (length = 2 km)
• section Poprikuše-Nemila (length = 5.1 km)
• section Mostar South - Tunnel Kvanj (length = 9.2 km)


Consultancy services for the following activities:
• Supervision of the section Tarčin-Konjic, subsection Tarčin-Ivan (length = 6.8 km): LOT 2 Tunnel Ivan (length = 2 km)
• Supervision of the section Poprikuše-Nemila (length = 5.1 km)
• Supervision of the section Mostar South - Tunnel Kvanj (length = 9.2 km)
• Project Implementation Unit Support

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
