1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
Zelene Misto Communal Enterprise (the Client) and Lviv City Municipality (the City) received loan financing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Clean Technology Fund (CTF) and grant financing from the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership (E5P) to implement the first phase of the rehabilitation of Hrybovychi landfill and introduction of sorting and composting facilities in Lviv. The Project comprises the following components:

- Rehabilitation of Hrybovychi landfill (contract awarded);
- Supply and installation of the leachate treatment facilities for Hrybovychi landfill with leachate throughput capacities up to 250 m³/day (contract signed);
- Construction of waste mechanical and biological treatment facilities (tender ongoing, commenced outside of ECEPP);
- Development of the household civic amenity centres (procurement not commenced).

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
