1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

Additional financing information:
USD 80 million equivalent loan provided by EBRD.

2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
Atyrau Refinery LLP intends using the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the "EBRD" or "Bank") for a project aimed for upgrade of process (waste) water treatment facilities at the Atyrau Refinery to ensure compliance with the best-practice standards for effluent quality treatment.

The proposed Project will require the procurement of the following contracts:

- Upgrade of mechanical waste water treatment facilities;
- Upgrade of biological waste water treatment facilities;
- Land reclamation/remediation of ponds and rehabilitation of effluent canal;
- FIDIC works supervision engineer services.

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
