1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

Additional financing information:
Part of the EBRD Loan proceeds (EUR 15,000,000) will be used for the implementation and construction of an underground substation in central Tirana.

2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
Operatori I Shperndarjes se Energjise Elektrike (“OSHEE” or the “Company”) has requested the Bank to consider a sovereign-guaranteed working capital facility to support its current and future operations which have been, and are expected to be, negatively impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. This loan will include funding for Construction of underground 110/20 kV 3x40/50MVA Substation in Tirana and related consultancy support during project preparation, procurement and supervision.

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
