1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

Additional financing information:
The client will finance any Taxes (as defined in the financing documents) or provide for the exemption of those.

2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
Project is designed to assist the Republic of Uzbekistan for the benefit of LLC Horezm Suv Taminoti of Horezm region (the Project Entity) in rehabilitating water and wastewater infrastructure in the Horezm region of the country and will require procurement of the following goods, works and services:
• Hydraulic modelling including calculation software
• SCADA
• Supply of service and repair equipment
• Supply of special vehicles (already being procured in part)
• Ground water intakes in Urgench, Bakat, Shavat, Gurlen and Hankiy districts
• Water pumping stations
• Supply and installation of valves for water networks
• Water meters
• Water treatment facilities in Urgench and Pitnyak
• Waste water treatment plants
• PIU Support, design and construction supervision (already being procured)

3. Other Information

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
