1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named contract(s).

Additional financing information:
The above named contracts are to be financed using only the loan funds provided by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

2. Information on the Procurement Exercise

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.

The type of contract and the procurement method is stated above. A full description of the procurement exercise is available within the documentation and is available free of charge in ECEPP.

The documentation will include such information as: detailed technical and financial requirements; any information on lots; the expected outcome; eligibility and qualification requirements; contract start date; planned contract duration; any response requirements; any other relevant information.

3. Other Information
The goods to be procured are intended for reconstruction of the rail track on priority rail lines on Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) corridors. The goods are rail track structure components for track gauge 1,520 mm.

The contract(s) is expected to start in July 2021 and last about six (6) months.

This opportunity is divided into 3 Lots.

Tenderers may bid for a maximum of 3 Lots.

Lot 1

Description: Set of spring loaded rail fastenings for R65 rails (dowel type) in a quantity of 570 944 sets

Lot 3

Description: Set of spring loaded rail fastenings for R65 rails (anchor type) in a quantity of 380 628 sets

This tender will be conducted by e-procurement using the EBRD Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP). Prospective participants who have registered in ECEPP and expressed an interest in the contract may access the documents and may request clarification and further information from the client through ECEPP. Non-registered firms should register on ECEPP.

The proceeds of the loan from/ grant administered by the Bank will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Client's country.
