1. Funding Details
The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named contract(s).
Additional financing information:
Pursuant to the Loan Agreements between the Republic of Serbia and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the “Bank”), the World Bank and the European Investment Bank, the Government of the Republic of Serbia constructed the sections of the Corridor X Highway, e.g. Highway E80, sections from Prosek to Dimitrovgrad (Border crossing with Bulgaria) and Highway E75, sections from Grabovnica to Levosoje (the "Project").
The Republic of Serbia, represented by the Project Implementing Entity, acting as the Contracting Authority, Koridori Srbije d.o.o. Beograd received the Loan from the Bank for the Project with objective to facilitate sustainable economic development and ensure that the country capitalizes on its geographical position to continue its development as a key transit country on the Trans-European Network as well as to increase transport efficiency and improve traffic safety in Serbia.
2. Information on the Procurement Exercise
Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
