Tender/Contract Reference No: 14030665: FIDIC Works Supervision Engineer Services

Scope Of Contract: The overall objective of this Contract is to facilitate the timely and effective implementation of the Project by rendering assistance to Atyrau Refinery LLP in implementation of the following contracts:
- D&B Contract based on FIDIC Yellow Book 1999 Edition for project “Upgrade of a mechanical wastewater treatment facilities (MWTF)”
- Construction Contract based on FIDIC Red Book 1999 Edition for project “Rehabilitation of the standard-treated wastewater channel and remediation of evaporation ponds (EP)”
The scope of services Of Engineer will include the following tasks:
- Act as the FIDIC Engineer for the Contracts (FIDIC Yellow and Red Books) and to carry out the engineering services for project management and technical supervision of construction and installation works in accordance with the legislation of Kazakhstan (Order of the Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 3, 2015 No. 71 On approval of the Rules for the provision of engineering services in the field of architectural, urban planning and construction activities);
- Monitoring/Supervision of construction of wastewater treatment facilities at Atyrau Refinery;
- Monitoring/Supervision of construction of wastewater treatment infrastructure at Atyrau Refinery;
- Project planning and scheduling;
- Quality assurance and audit;
- Contract management and procurement;
- Claims assessment;
- Environmental and social matters management, including gender and economic inclusion;
- Ensure / follow up on the EBRD's Environmental and Social Action Plan;
- Construction safety;
- Design control;
- Provide assistance and required project information to the Banks;
- Report on implementation and progress of the Contracts on the monthly basis in the format and contents acceptable to Atyrau Refinery LLP and Banks;
- Control over the implementation by contractors of the corporate standard for interaction with contractors in the field of labour protection, industrial safety and environmental protection in Atyrau Refinery LLP.
