1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

Additional financing information:
Loan administered by the Bank: KZT 28,800,000,000.00
Contribution from the City of Almaty: KZT 11,100,000,000.00
SSF Grant: EUR 700,000.00

2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
Proceeds of the loan and the City contribution will be used to finance (i) acquisition of 190 modern energy efficient trolleybuses, (ii) upgrade of 10 power supply substations and (iii) renovation of trolleybus depot, (iv) acquisition of depot equipment, (v) modernisation of trolleybus traction lines.

Procedures of the SSF Grant will be used to finance consultancy services for (i) project implementation support, (ii) corporate development programme and (iii) pre-shipment inspection.
