1. Funding Details
The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.
Additional financing information:
A sovereign loan of up to EUR 7.0 million to Georgia and a capital grant of EUR 3.0 million from Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).
2. Information on the Project
Project Description:
The proceeds of the loan and grant will finance the construction of an EU compliant regional landfill from Tranche A, and the acquisition of vehicles, containers and other waste management equipment from Tranche B. In addition, the project will support institutional development of the Company and the Project Municipalities. Post-signing technical cooperation will cover implementation of a Corporate Development Programme (“CDP”), a Stakeholder Participation Programme (“SPP”) and an Environmental and Social Action Plan (“ESAP”), together with various measures aimed at improving the operational and financial efficiency of the Company.

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
