General Procurement Notice

1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

Additional financing information:
The Loan comprises two tranches: up to EUR 47.5 million to finance Tranche 1 and EUR 7.5 million to finance Tranche 2 to be committed at the Bank’s discretion and after separate due diligence. Additional funding intends to origin from SECO, WBIF and Donor.

2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
The project includes the modernization and expansion of basic solid waste management (SWM) infrastructure in five regions. Tranche 1 includes finance of SWM infrastructure in the Pelagonija, Southwest and Polog regions, and Tranche 2 includes finance of SWM infrastructure in the Vardar and Southeast regions.

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
