General Procurement Notice

1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

Additional financing information:
The EBRD loan is proposed to be co-financed by a loan of EUR 1.0 million from the European Investment Bank (EIB) and a capital grant of EUR 3.3 million from EU’s Investment Facility for Central Asia (IFCA)

2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
The aims to finance critical water and wastewater improvements in the City, including water source and network rehabilitation comprising bulk meters, wastewater collection network rehabilitation and extension, a wastewater treatment plant and operations and maintenance equipment.

3. Other Information

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.

Procurement under this project will be conducted using the EBRD Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP). If you intend to participate in any procurement under this project, please ensure that you have registered in ECEPP (https://ecepp.ebrd.com). Registered entities will be notified directly when any procurement opportunities are published.

The Project is at an advanced stage of implementation, all contracts under the procurement plan have been signed with the exception of the contract for the rehabilitation of the sewage system. The wastewater network rehabilitation contract provides for the replacement and extension of the sewer pipes of the City with the construction of a wastewater pumping station.
