1. Contract Details


Contract Title: Rehabilitation of Tanbara Gedida canals (Canal-B-4), including the relevant infrastructure, in the Beshbish area covering a length of 6.54 km.

Contract Description: The purpose of this Tender is to select a contractor to carry out the rehabilitation of the Tanbara El-Gedida in the Beshbish area within the GHARBEYA governorate. The estimated time for implementing the works is 15 months. The total length of the canal is approximately 6.54 km.
The scope of work includes:
1.Dry pitching and concrete lining two canal of 6.54 km length;
2.Concrete upper toe parapet (fence) of lining in residential areas;
3.Construction of 7 Mesqa intakes including the steel gates;4.
4.Any other works assigned by the Employer in the Project area.

3. Other Information
The contract price is EGP 25,430,884.75 exclusive taxes. Tax values are as follows:

- 5% of the contract price which is equivalent to 1,271,544, representing value added taxes VAT

- Approximately 9% of the contract price, which is equivalent to EGP 2,288,780, representing all other charges including social insurance, non-commercial and industrial occupation profit tax, and stamp taxes etc, however the final exact taxes deduction ratio will be identified based on the final payment certificate.
