Contract Title: Rehabilitation of the following canals, including the relevant infrastructure, as a one lot, in the Beshbish area: - Farokeya canal (Canal-B-1) covering a length of 5.70 km. - Rawatrb canal (Canal-B-2) covering a length of 3.26 km.

Contract Description: Rehabilitation of the following canals, as a one lot in the Beshbishh area:
-Farokeya canal (Canal-B-1) covering a length of 5.70 km.
-Rawateb canal (Canal-B-2) covering a length of 3.26 km.
The scope of work includes:
1.Dry pitching and concrete lining two canal of 7.8 km length;
2.Concrete upper toe parapet (fence) of lining in residential areas;
3.Construction of 16 Mesqa intakes including the steel gates;
4.More details about the specification, volume of works and principal quantities are set out in the BoQ and specification.

The contract price is of 35,073,057.02 EGP [Thirty-Five million, seventy-three thousand, and fifty-seven EGP and 2/100 of EGP excluding taxes. Taxes will be financed by the local fund. Taxes values are as follows:
- 5% of the contract price which is equivalent to 1,753,652.85 (one million and seven hundred and fifty-three thousand, and six hundred and fifty-two Egyptian pounds and 85/100 of EGP), representing value added taxes VAT
- Approximately 9% of the contract price, which is equivalent to EGP 3,156,575.13 (Three million and one hundred and fifty-six thousand, and five hundred and seventy-five Egyptian pounds, and 13/100 of EGP), representing all other charges including social insurance, commercial and industrial profit tax, and stamp taxes etc, however, the final exact taxes deduction ratio will be identified based on the final payment certificate.
