Contract Title: Rehabilitation canals in Zefta (Bahr shebeen): a.Bahr Shershaba (Ganabya 4)(C-Z-8) 2.27km and (Ganabya 5)(C-Z-9) 0.4km. B.Bahr(Ganabya 6A)(C-Z-10)1.6km and Bahr(Ganabya 6B)(C-Z-11)1.35km. c.(Ganabya 7)(C-Z-12)2.2km. d.(Ganabya 8)(C-Z-13)2.2km.

Contract Description: Rehabilitation of GANABYA 4, BAHR SHEBEEN Canal(C-Z-8) and GANABYA 5 BAHR SHEBEEN Canal (C-Z-9) and GANABYA 6A BAHR SHEBEEN Canal (C-Z-10) and GANABYA 6B BAHR SHEBEEN Canal (C-Z-11) and GANABYA 7 BAHR SHEBEEN Canal (C-Z-12) and GANABYA 8 BAHR SHEBEEN Canal (C-Z-13).
The scope of work includes:
1.Dry pitching and concrete lining for GANABYA 4, BAHR SHEBEEN Canal(C-Z-8) and GANABYA 5 BAHR SHEBEEN Canal (C-Z-9) and GANABYA 6A BAHR SHEBEEN Canal (C-Z-10) and GANABYA 6B BAHR SHEBEEN Canal (C-Z-11) and GANABYA 7 BAHR SHEBEEN Canal (C-Z-12) and GANABYA 8 BAHR SHEBEEN Canal (C-Z-13) of total length 10.52km approximately
2.Supply and constructing a plain concrete parapet wall in residential areas;
3.Supply and installation of a steel gate for canal intake;

3. Other Information
The contract price is of 28,811,000 EGP [Twenty-Eight million, eight hundred and eleven thousand, and EGP excluding taxes, Taxes values are as follows:
- 5% of the contract price which is equivalent to 1,440,550 EGP (one million and four hundred and forty thousand, and five hundred and fifty Egyptian pounds, representing value added taxes VAT
- Approximately 5.6% of the contract price, which is equivalent to EGP 1,613,017.20 EGP (One million and six hundred and thirteen thousand, and seventeen Egyptian pounds, and 20/100 of EGP), representing all other charges including social insurance etc, however the final exact taxes deduction ratio will be identified based on the final payment certificate
Knowing that the productive cooperative Associations are exempted from the commercial and industrial profit tax (1%), and stamp taxes (2.4%) according to the Egyptian Laws 317/1956, 110/1975 and Fatwa department circulation nr. 3800 dated 20th November 2011
