General Procurement Notice

1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

Additional financing information:
The proceeds of the EBRD’s loan and the EU NIP grant will be used for the acquisition of new trolleybuses along with spare parts, remote monitoring system and service equipment. The components financed from the City’s contribution shall be procured in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.

2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
The project includes acquisition of new trolleybuses, upgrade of trolleybus stops and traction power substations and modernisation of trolleybus depot in the City of Khmelnytskyi. The proceeds of the EBRD’s loan and the EU NIP grant will be used for the acquisition of new trolleybuses along with spare parts, remote monitoring system and service equipment. The components financed from the City’s contribution shall be procured in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
