1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

Additional financing information:
The proceeds of the EBRD loan cannot be used to finance any Taxes, as defined in the financing agreement/s. Thus, the Client will be responsible to either fund those as applicable, or exempt any Project's goods, works and services from these Taxes.

2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
Construction of a c. 120 km 500 kV transmission line in Uzbekistan between Sarimay (Khoresm region) and Djankeldy (Bukhara region) and a c. 10 km 500kV transmission line connecting a new 500kV open switchgear with the 500kV Navoi transmission line and the required Project Implementation Support services

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
