General Procurement Notice

1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

Additional financing information:
The State of Bosnia and Herzegovina has submitted to the Bank their intention to use the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the EBRD) in the amount of EUR 97,2 million and a loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) in the amount of EUR 97,2 million to finance the construction of priority motorway sections along the international transport Corridor Vc. The remaining funds for the project, which has a total estimated cost of EUR 249,6 million, shall be secured from the expected WBIF grant and Employer's own funds.


2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
The proposed project will require the procurement of the following goods, works and services:

Construction of the following motorway section:
• Section Tunnel Prenj (length = 12,4 km)
• Section Ovčari - Prenj (to be defined)
• Section Prenj - Mostar North (to be defined)

Consultancy services for the following activities:
• Supervision and technical assistance of the section Tunnel Prenj (length = 12,4 km)
• Supervision of the section Ovčari - Prenj (to be defined)
• Supervision of the section Prenj - Mostar North (to be defined)

Tendering for the Tunnel Prenj Section is expected to begin on Q1 2022
