1. Contract Details
Contract Title: Consulting services for assistance with establishing the new company for public transport services in Sarajevo Canton, including legal assistance, setting up an organisation, hiring and management policies and GAP
Contract Description: The Government of Sarajevo Canton accepted the proposal of the Ministry of Traffic of Sarajevo Canton to establish a new public utility company for regular passenger transport with a focus on tram and trolleybus transport, in order to better regulate the most important segment of this type of transport, and set up grounded basis for the long-term sustainable development of this type of transport. Besides, special attention shall be given to transition plan to explain how existing staff/assets are being transferred- on technical, legal and financial level. This process has to be compliant with BankâÂÂs PR2. A transition plan should specifically look into:
â¢Retrenchment â affecting GRAS workers who will not be transferred to the new company and are affected by the bankruptcy; and
â¢Transfer of undertaking (change in legal identify of employer) â affecting GRAS workers who are transferred to the next company.
