1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

Additional financing information:
The Project is financed by EBRD loan in the amount of 50.6 million EUR and a GCF grant of EUR 5 million, co-financed by the City - EUR 11.8 million.

2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
The EBRD loan will finance the rehabilitation of up to 12 metro stations in the City. This is part of a broader programme aiming to support the City in reforming its management of public transport by financing the renewal of the bus and metro systems and network restructuring.

3. Other Information

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.

Procurement under this project will be conducted using the EBRD Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP). If you intend to participate in any procurement under this project, please ensure that you have registered in ECEPP (https://ecepp.ebrd.com). Registered entities will be notified directly when any procurement opportunities are published.

The project will be carried out by the Tbilisi Transport Company LLC, a limited liability company wholly owned by Tbilisi City Municipality.

Contracts to be financed from the proceeds of the loan and the grant include:
- Works for rehabilitation of metro stations
- Consultancy services for conceptual design and procurement support for rehabilitation of metro stations
- Project implementation support and construction supervision for rehabilitation of metro stations
