Contract Title: Engineering Consultancy Support for construction of underground substation

Contract Description: The aim of this Technical Assignment (TA) is to provide technical assistance to OSHEE for Construction of a new 110/20kV Substation located near Skanderbeg Square, City of Tirana. The proposed substation will be an underground facility with high voltage gas-insulated switchgears and 3 operational transformers with space for 1 reserve transformer.

For this TA assignment, the Consultant will provide engineering consultancy support including preparation of detailed design, tender documents and tender requirements, procurement support, supervision of the ESAP implementation and implementation supervision support. The Consultant will examine key technical interfaces for constructability & operability of this new substation. The Consultant will also analyze preliminary technical design, proposed technology and operational requirements of the proposed substation. It is important to note that this project proposal is based on first time use of underground substation and gas insulated switchgear technology.
