1. Funding Details
The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named contract(s).
Additional financing information:
The contract will be financed by an EBRD loan, EU, SSF and GCFF.
2. Information on the Procurement Exercise
Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
The type of contract and the procurement method is stated above. A full description of the procurement exercise is available within the documentation and is available free of charge in ECEPP.
The documentation will include such information as: detailed technical and financial requirements; any information on lots; the expected outcome; eligibility and qualification requirements; contract start date; planned contract duration; any response requirements; any other relevant information.

3. Other Information
Work for this Package shall include, the followings:
• Construction of a new gravity sewer pipelines of corrugated HDPE pipe ranging in diameter between 200 mm and 600 mm, including related concrete manholes. The total lengths of the sewer pipelines are about 45 km, out of which about 3.5 km of these lengths are trunklines to be laid in Wadis.
• 10 km of house connections of corrugated HDPE pipes of 160 mm.
• Installation of sewer pipelines of 200 mm using the Project approved pipe material, by trenchless construction methods for installation of pipelines under major/main highways, for deep Pipelines and where the open cut method couldn’t be applied.
• Construction of new sewer pipelines of ductile iron pipe ranging in diameter between 200 mm and 600 mm (nominal diameter), including related concrete manholes. The total lengths of the ductile iron sewer pipelines are 1.5 km.
• Optional Item which includes:
- Construction of 8.4 km new gravity sewer pipelines of corrugated HDPE pipe of 200 mm in diameter, including related concrete manholes.
- 1.0 km of house connections of corrugated HDPE pipes of 160 mm.
- Construction of new sewer pipelines of 240 m ductile iron pipe of 200 mm in diameter (nominal diameter), including related concrete manholes.
• Time for Completion: 540 days (180 months)
The Site visit will take place in Al Wastia Municipality Building on the date 25th September 2024 at 10:00 AM Jordan Time
