Contract Title: Upgrading existing waste transfer station (retendering)

Contract Description: Project area is Tbilisi Service Group waste transfer station and operation yard at A. Beliashvili Street
119-121, City of Tbilisi, Georgia.
The site is located in a commercial and industrial area of Tbilisi. The site has a total area of 25,564
m². The Mtkvari River is located immediately to the south and east of the site.

The goals of upgrade of the transfer station are to build four new waste discharge pits, equipped
with hydraulic presses for compacting of waste to be transported to Didi Lolo landfill and renovate
auxiliary infrastructure of the transfer station.
Scope of the Works include among others:
• Construction of new waste compaction and transfer units with 4 unloading pits
• Construction of a light construction hangar above the pits for loading waste into
containers and partially above the territory for unloading garbage trucks
• Construction of a car wash facility with 4 washing slots, including dismantling of old
car wash facility
• Construction of a tyre washing unit
• Construction of a staff building
• Construction of paved on-site roads and parking areas
• Connection of the relevant new facilities to the existing water supply network
• Connection of new facilities to the existing power grid

• Extension of the existing stormwater collection system to cover all buildings and
relevant areas of the whole site and installation of a pre-treatment system
• Construction of outlet structures at the river, including embankment head, frog flap,
etc.
