Contract Description: Reconstruction of bridges at the following drain outlets (Umm Tahoun and Al Arbaeen, Al Suyah)) an implementation of a Trash Rash and Aquatic weed drain system (Netaq) at 0.3 km on the Hafir Shehabuddin drain.
The scope of work includes:
1.Reconstruction of bridges at the following drains outlet: Umm Tahoun, Arbaeen, and Al Suyah public drain;
2.Implementation of a trash rack and aquatic weed barrier system (Netaq) at 0.3 km on the HafirShehabuddin drain.

3. Other Information
This contract is funded by the EBRD and the EU. The contract price is 23,424,850 EGP [Twenty-Three million, and four hundred and twenty-four thousand and eight hundred and fifty EGP] excluding taxes, Taxes values are as follows:
- 5% of the contract price which is equivalent to1,171,242.5 EGP (one million and one hundred and seventy-one thousand, and two hundred and forty-two EGP and 50/100 EGP), representing value added taxes VAT
- Approximately 5.6% of the contract price, which is equivalent to EGP 1,311,791.60 EGP(one million and three hundred and eleven thousand, and seven hundred and ninety-one EGP, and 60/100 of EGP), representing all other charges including social insurance, etc, however, the final exact taxes deduction ratio will be identified based on the final payment certificate
Knowing that the productive cooperative Associations are exempted from the non-commercial and industrial occupation profit tax (1%), and stamp taxes (2.4%) according to Egyptian Laws 317/1956, 110/1975, and Fatwa department circulation nr. 3800 dated 20th November 2011
