2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
Investments in renewable and waste heat based generation in several district heating companies (“DHCs”) located in 10 small and medium cities (including Pančevo, Vršac, Kraljevo, Nis, Bogatić, Bečej, Kruševac, Novi Pazar, Paraćin and Kragujevac) in Serbia, and accompanying measures including modernisation of substations and existing DH networks

3. Other Information

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.

Procurement under this project will be conducted using the EBRD Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP). If you intend to participate in any procurement under this project, please ensure that you have registered in ECEPP (https://ecepp.ebrd.com). Registered entities will be notified directly when any procurement opportunities are published.

The Ministry of Mining and Energy intends to issue by the end June 2025 the following contracts:

1) PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT AND WORKS SUPERVISION SERICES FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE RENEWABLE DISTRICT ENERGY (“REDE”) PROJECT

2) Construction of distribution network (Vrsac), additional connections on the existing geothermal network (Bogatic), Interconnection pipeline (Becej)
3) Automation/reconstruction of heat substations and internal heating instalations (Becej, Bogatic, Vrsac, Kragujevac, Krusevac)
4) Injection well 1140 m and connection in Becej and Preparatory works for the borehole exploration in Paracin
5 )Heat pump on wastewater treatment plant (Vrsac), Heat pump utilizing the drinking water at the boiler house LUG (Novi Pazar), Heat pumps for flue gas condensation (Kraljevo), High-capacity heat pump using water from Nisava (Nis), Heat pump using waste heat from the National Data Centre (Kragujevac), Heat pump using geothermal energy (Becej), Heat pump on wastewater treatment plant (Krusevac)
6) Installation of solar thermal collectors of 1.7 MW in Pancevo
