1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

Additional financing information:
Loan funds provided by EBRD (EUR 23mln) and grant funds by SSF/SIF (EUR 11,45mln).

2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
The objective of the project is to modernise transmission network in the Sugd region of Tajikistan involving rehabilitation of the existing transmission grid transformers under the Sugd Transmission Grid Upgrade Project and addition of a new transformer under the Sugd Transmission Grid Extension Project at the Sugd substation. The projects are joint for the purpose of smooth implementation (ID 54275 / 54592).
