1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
The Project introduces a new 400kV substation to the national grid in an area with existing transmission bottlenecks and will require the procurement of the following goods, works and services:

- Construction of the 400/132/33 kV substation: Civil works and switchgears (Works),
- Construction of the 400/132/33 kV substation: Transformers and reactors (Works),
- Construction supervision consultant & PIU Support ( Consultancy Services),
- Environmental and Social Action Plan (ESAP) implementation support consultant (Consultancy Services),
- Supporting implementation of inclusion TI objectives (Consultancy Services),
- Gender inclusion technical cooperation (Consultancy Services).

3. Other Information

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
