The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
The Project will address the emergency investment needs of the City aimed at rehabilitation of the water supply and treatment infrastructure in Mykolayiv (the “Project”), which currently has a poor technical condition due to the obsolete assets and physical damages to the infrastructure due to Russia’s shelling. The loan from EBRD and grants Denmark and the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership (E5P) will finance the following components, as may be amended with prior approval of financiers: (i) water treatment and purification equipment and associated reconstruction works; (ii) reconstruction of water intake; and (iii) rehabilitation of selected critical sections of the water distribution network.

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
