1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
Communal Enterprise Ternopilmiskteplokomunenergo; of the Ternopil City Council, a municipal district heating utility, has applied for a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development a loan from the Clean Investments Fund and a grant from the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership Fund for a project aimed at improving the energy efficiency, reducing energy losses, gas and electricity consumption and improving the quality of heat and hot water supply services in the City of Ternopil. The Project has a total estimated cost of approximately EUR 21.1 million equivalent, with some components already completed.

The remaining contracts to be procured are:

- Biomass fuelled CHP plant (min.8 MW heating capacity and approx.1.1-1.8 MW electricity) - Design & Build
- Dispatching and monitoring system (SCADA) - Goods

3. Other Information

Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin in the Q3 2024.

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
