1. Funding Details
The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.
Additional financing information:
An EBRD loan of UDS 22 million, to be co-financed by investment grant of the government of the United Kingdom under EBRDs High Impact Partnership for Climate Action multi-donor fund (HIPCA) of up to USD 8 million and an investment grant from the European Union Neighbourhood Investment Platform (EU NIP) of up to EUR 2.75 million and a TC grant of USD 0.8 million from the EBRD Shareholders Special Fund.
2. Information on the Project
Project Description:
The Project involves the construction of a new wastewater treatment plant in the West Irbid area, complementing the West Irbid Wastewater Network Project (Project 48496). Together, both projects aim to create an enhanced and sustainable wastewater system in West Irbid, offering wastewater services to nearby towns for the first time serving both the local community and refugees settled in the region.
