Contract Title: Main Rehabilitation Project
Contract Description: The scope of works under the construction project includes the section of the external water supply main between the existing UZR chamber (ultrasonic flowmeter) at Ranney wells which are located in the terrace of the Danube river on the land of the town of Slivo Pole (I Podem Pumping Station) to Pressure reservoir 1,000m3, Slivo Pole.
The current project envisages the reconstruction (replacement) of the existing water supply main with a new one along the route, parallel to the existing one. The route crosses irrigation and drainage canals, the Municipal Road connecting the town of Slivo Pole and the village of Ryahovo, as well as the Second Class Republic Road II-21 Rousse-Silistra. The total length of the water supply main is approximately 5.6 km.
In addition, the following elements must be constructed: 9 air vents, 6 release units, 3 crane shafts, 2 measuring shafts.
Total number of water shafts to be constructed:18.
Number of passes under irrigation and drainage canals: 6.
Number of passes under roads: 2.
