Contract Title: Corporate Development and Institutional Support Program Consultant (CDIS)

Contract Description: The Consulting Services Agreement for the implementation of the Corporate Development and Institutional Support Project, by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Swiss Government as a donor, amounts to a total value of 2,500,879.20.
The aim of this project is to support the Government of North Macedonia in its efforts to implement the National Waste Management Strategy and the Waste Management Plan.

The implementation of this project is expected to assist in the establishment of new regional bodies, enterprises, and institutions, in line with integrated regional waste management. Our goal is to support the formation and operation of three waste management systems in the following regions: Vardar-Southeast, Pelagonia-Southwest, and the Polog region. This will involve 45 municipalities, with the aim of improving and enhancing their waste management operations.

We expect that with your support, as selected consultants, you will assist in the following:

Supporting the establishment of institutional structures for the three new regional waste management systems.
Strengthening the capacities of regional public enterprises to effectively perform their duties arising from the new regional waste management system.
Enhancing the capacities and operations of public utility companies in municipalities for waste management across all regions.
Providing technical assistance to the Regulatory Commission for Energy, Water Services, and Waste Management.
Establishing a new organizational structure, as well as preparing a new methodology, regulations, and procedures for determining waste management tariffs.
