1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named contract(s).

Additional financing information:
The Project will be financed with the funds provided within the EBRD loan.

2. Information on the Procurement Exercise

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.

The type of contract and the procurement method is stated above. A full description of the procurement exercise is available within the documentation and is available free of charge in ECEPP.

The documentation will include such information as: detailed technical and financial requirements; any information on lots; the expected outcome; eligibility and qualification requirements; contract start date; planned contract duration; any response requirements; any other relevant information.

This procurement exercise will be conducted using the EBRD Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP). 3. Other Information
The road section between Bukojcahni and Kichevo in length of 10.7 km, presents a part of the Pan European Road Corridor VIII that passes through the Republic of North Macedonia, starting at border with Bulgaria (BC Deve Bair) and ending at border with Albania (BC Kjafasan) in length of approx. 305 km.
The Project is located on the western side of the Republic of North Macedonia, approximately 61 km southwest of Skopje, in the region of Kichevo, on the A2 motorway, from the “Strogomishte” interchange in the north, to the “Kichevo Sever” interchange in the south.
The design consists of dual carriageway, each with two 3.5 m wide traffic lanes, two 2.5m wide stopping lanes, a 3.0 m central reserve, two 0.5 m edge lanes and two 1.2 m shoulders, with a design speed of 100km/h. The works also include construction of interchanges, bridges, culverts, one tunnel, drainage channels, gutters, berms and retaining walls.
