1. Funding Details
The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.
Additional financing information:
The Project is the first phase of a broader Priority Investment Programme ("PIP") with an estimated total cost of EUR 410 million with the following tranches, encompassing holistic rehabilitation of the water and wastewater sector in the Ganja city.
The project will include the following components:
Tranche 1 of up to EUR 35 million for construction of the water supply, stormwater and sewerage networks, water reservoirs, acquisition of SCADA system and the PIS (Project Implementation Support) Consultancy. The Loan (Tranche 1) will be co-financed by an investment grant of up to EUR 5 million from the EU Neighbourhood Investment Platform (NIP).
Tranche 2 of up to EUR 120 million for construction of a WWTP and the water supply, stormwater and sewerage networks, as well as the PIS Consultancy (uncommitted) .
Tranche 3 of up to EUR 110 million for construction of the water supply, stormwater and sewerage networks, water reservoirs and the PIS Consultancy (uncommitted).
Tranche 4 of up to EUR 145 million for construction of the water supply, stormwater and sewerage networks, water reservoirs, maintenance and equipment workshop, acquisition of O&M vehicles and machinery, as well as the PIS Consultancy (uncommitted).

A sovereign loan of up to EUR 35 million is committed to the Republic of Azerbaijan (the "Borrower") for the benefit of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency (the "Water Agency"), a government entity in charge of managing water resources in Azerbaijan. The Bank will support the reconstruction of water supply, sanitation and stormwater management network in the city of Ganja (the "Project").
The Project aims to finance the rehabilitation of water supply and sewerage network, rehabilitation and construction of water reservoirs and acquisition of SCADA system, as well as O&M vehicles and equipment, construction of a maintenance and equipment workshop, stormwater management system and new WWTP in the city of Ganja.

3. Other Information
Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents. Firms subject to international financial sanctions or debarment are not eligible.
Procurement under this project will be conducted using the EBRD Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP). If you intend to participate in any procurement under this project, please ensure that you have registered in ECEPP (https://ecepp.ebrd.com). Registered entities will be notified directly when any procurement opportunities are published.
Procurement will be conducted in accordance with the EBRD Procurement Policies and Rules, and in compliance with applicable national legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan where relevant and not in conflict with EBRD rules.
