1. Contract Details


Contract Title: Retender - Supply and installation of water meters

Contract Description: The total area of Karakol city is divided into 4 zones, and the zone is Pristan. The division into zones is determined by the source of water supply. In order of priority, it was determined that zone 3, zone 4 and the Pristan are mandatory works due to the fact that water losses in these zones are critical. The water meter installation project envisages 100% coverage of the population of Karakol city. This project will install 13000 household water meters for private houses, of which 2432 in zone 1, 4685 in zone 2, 2035 in zone 3, 3168 in zone 4 and 680 in the Pristanzone. Procurement of all meters is budgeted in zone 3 and the contractor shall seek approval from the Employer for the quantity to be supplied.

For the installation of water meters in the private sector 4 connection points for 1 , 6, 8 and 10 subscribers have been designed.

For 1 subscriber it is envisaged to install the meter inside the house on the existing pipeline in the subscriber's premises.

For 6, 8 and 10 subscribers installation of water meters is provided inside the manholes, manholes will be located near the water line and connected from the water line universal (for asbestos-cement, steel and cast-iron pipes) and mortise clamps (for polyethylene pipes) and then pipes 20 are distributed to the subscribers.

The contract also includes the installation of a billing system.
