The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from, or Grant administered by, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ('the Bank') for the above named project. Additional financing details are as follows:

BIDSF Grant Agreement No. 020A

Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from/ grant administered by the Bank and will be open to firms from any country.


The client now invites tenders for the above mentioned contract(s). Additional description is as follows:

Slovenska elektrizacna prenosova sustava, a.s. (SEPS), hereinafter referred to as the Employer, has received a grant from the Bohunice International Decommissioning Support Fund (BIDSF), administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) towards the cost of the supply of electrical and instrumentation and control equipment and related works and services as required for the reconstruction projects of Substation Bystricany - transformation 400/110 kV, Substation Horna Zdana - enlargement, Substation Krizovany - enlargement to adapt the substations to the conditions of the grid after the final shutdown of Bohunice Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2 (Bohunice V1 NPP).

The Employer now invites tenders from Suppliers / Contractors for the following contract to be funded from part of the proceeds of the grant:

Contract for the design, manufacture, pre-assembly and acceptance testing in the manufacturers’ workshop as well as the transportation to site, unloading, temporary storage, erection, interface co-ordination, adjusting, setting, identification, commissioning and acceptance testing, trial operation and making good all defects during the defects notification period all required electro-mechanical systems for the Substation Bystricany - transformation 400/110 kV, Substation Horna Zdana - enlargement, Substation Krizovany - enlargement mainly consisting of:

Supply and installation of 7 (seven) new 400 kV bays including all relevant equipment in three different sites.

Related modifications of auxiliary devices.

Earthworks.

Installation and programming of the substation control and monitoring system.


The contract is expected to start on 01/12/2016 and last about 36 months.

The proceeds of the loan from/ grant administered by the Bank will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of the Client's country.

Prospective tenderers who have registered in ECEPP and expressed an interest in the tender may access the tender documents free of charge and may request clarification and further information from the client through ECEPP. Full conditions for participation are included in the tender documents (tender data section).

Other Information:The registered suppliers will be invited to a Pre-Tender meeting with site visit, which will be organized on 28 and 29 June 2016 (two days). The pre-tender meeting will take place in SEPS premises at 8:00. The site visit will follow after the meeting. Two days are planned for the site visit due to visiting different sites. The detail site visit agenda will be distributed to the interested tenderers at the pre-tender meeting.

Interested suppliers shall confirm their participation in the pre-tender meeting and the site visit by 14 June 2016, by sending an e-mail (on the e-mail address below) with names and personal details (ID number) of the persons from the company who will take participation
