Scope Of Contract: Procurement of various collection vehicles and skip and tipper trucks as well as 24 months of maintenance services
Duration of Contract: 30 months
Revised Scope Of Contract: Lot 1 - The Purchaser wishes to purchase one additional Waste Collection Vehicle, 4 x 2 Compactor, 15 - 16 m³ (Lot 1, Item 1.1.2) resulting in a total quantity of 7 (seven) instead of 6 (six) Compactors 15-16m³. The total contract value (Lot 1 + Lot 2) would thus increase from 1,480,800.00 € (incl. VAT) to 1,596,480.00 € (incl. VAT) which would be an increase of 7.8%. According to the ITT (Instructions to Tenderers) clause 34.2 and the TDS (Tender Data Sheet), the Purchaser is allowed to increase the quantities by a maximum of 15% of the original contract value.
The total available budget for Contract 01 (Lot 1 and Lot 2 together) is 1,848,000 € (incl. VAT) and thus sufficient to increase the quantities by one Compactor 15-16 m³.
Therefore and in line with the tender documents (ITT and TDS), it is recommended to award the procurement of 7 (seven) Waste Collection Vehicles, Compactor, 15 - 16 m³ (Lot 1, Item 1.1.2) instead of 6 (six). The revised contract value would be 1,596,480.00 € incl. VAT and 1,330,400.00 € excl. VAT.
