Scope Of Contract: MEPSO would like to employ a consultant to assess possible impact of electrical vehicles implementation in Macedonia for the next 20 years.
Proposed study should investigate effects of plug-in electric vehicles on the electricity grid in Republic of Macedonia. More specifically, it will suggest approaches for:
1. Offering backup for renewable power sources including wind and solar power,
2. Improving grid efficiency, stability, reliability of the transmission grid, and,
3. Reducing utility operating costs and even potentially generation of revenue.
